You are handicapping families who have finra related compliance rules from freely trading the market. We are already limited by minimal holding periods and denial of derivative products.
My money, my choice! You do not tell me what to spend my money on! If I want to trade worthless fiat currency in for crypto, that's what I will do! Period!
Please let investors decide what to invest in for themselves freely. It's makes sense for regulators to ask for more transparency from the issuers, but not to limit what investors can trade.
The SEC has allowed for cryptocurrency futures like BITO to be created. I know the risks. Please let me trade as I see fit with my investment capital. Its a free market.
If a product is available, we should be all allowed to trade/invest on it. If it is thought to be a problem, make disclosures more visible and make all sign terms before trading but do not block or prohibit it!
Even though people may see leveraged stocks as risks. In reality, when trading them for the long run they are actually very safe investments. There is no reason to restrict access to these stocks
America has free cap market to trade. We are not becoming a highly regulated market like countries without freedom. Individuals financial risk shouldnt be spread to the free market
Please do not add restrictions to my right to invest in securities that I feel fit my personal portfolio. I have traded securities for several years and know the risks involved with leverage.
I understand the value of short selling. I understand it is a mechanism to root out unsavory characters that may be using subversive tactics to artificially prop up a stock/ security, however I do not understand why, in 2021 we as retail investors do not have access to the same information at the same time as institutional investors? how is that a free market? again its 2021 and we have internet
