How can selling more shares than exist of a stock and trading those shares in the dark market to manipulate share price be legal?
please don't put more restrictions on trading leveraged or inverse fund. They should be available to the us (small investors) as risk management tool when market at extremes. They are helpful to me to manage risks.
Why should a knowledge person not be able to purchase these types of Pro Share? If its on the market to trade then anyone with knowledge should be able to do so or else de-list all these kinds of stock completely.
I have a high (I guess net worth) and have a lot of experience in trading stocks and options. Leveraged ETF's are very valuable to me. They are no more dangerous than any stock or etf . Thank YOU
The annual meeting of FINRA firms will take place on or about August 18, 2025, to elect one Large Firm Governor and one Small Firm Governor to the FINRA Board of Governors (FINRA Board). A formal notice of the meeting, including the precise date, time and location, will be mailed to executive representatives on or about July 18, 2025.
I view this proposed restriction is yet another restriction to small investors - not naive, but experienced with these products.
We know the risks - the brokerage firms have all the warnings before you can make a trade.

I have not been very successful with my Proshares either on the long side or the short side but I still think that I should have the ability to trade these shares as I see fit for my portfolio as market conditions change.
Comments: Please do not restrict access to leveraged ETFs. I am an individual investor who makes a profit trading these year after year. It will harm us by taking away options to capitalize on trends.
