The list of public investments that can potentially be regulated is too arbitrary. If I buy and hold for the long-term an investment that is income-producing, I shouldn't have to be regulated. It's only those who trade frequently who should be regulated.
It is not fair to limit the number of tools private investors can use. Companies will continue to use available tools to get the same results to avoid these limitations, which puts private investors in unfair trading capabilities.
I strongly oppose the proposed restrictions in trading leveraged securities. As part of my portfolio, I want to buy/sell these securities from time to time and don't want to see regulations complicate my ability to do so.
We should not be restricted to investments you deem correct for us. Continue making sure all publicly traded investments meet stringent disclosure requirements as appropriate. Then leave the decision to us. Thank you.
Leave my LETFS alone let people make their own investment choices. if used properly LETFS allow ordinary individuals to attempt new strategies without turning to even risker trades such as options.
Spend your time protecting investors from real threats, punish politicians who inside trade on a daily basisleave leverage funds aloneI have the right to invest MY MONEY the way I want
Taking away this right does not all a true free market. There are numerous ways to trade that are higher risk such as weekly options and micro stocks, what is the difference? This limits what should be a true and free market.
How about instead of trying to regulate the free market you start preventing congress from trading on inside information aka nancy pelosi. Leave my leveraged etfs alone you communists
The right to invest is a freedom of choice and having that right taken away is unconstitutional, unethical and is anti-capitalism.
I personally wish to continue to invest in cryptocurrency (and BITO) just like I trade on the foreign exchange as well as on the stock market.
It is my belief that even as a small investor I should have access to all options of trading and investing and that it is my responsibility to understand the risks involved. Regulations don't protect us and actually take away opportunities.
