To who it may concern,
I oppose restrictions on investing in these investment vehicles as they are far less risky then investing in individual stocks, options, futures, and cryptocurrencies. I invest in many of these regularly and have reduced my risk considerably. If you restrict these in a way that I could not use them then you are accomplishing the opposite of your goal.
Please let us invest in the leveraged investment products. This is only tool we have for small investors to hedge our investments with very small risk. Without this option, we would not be able to invest long term without safely hedging our long-term investments. These products are very handy when the risk is high like current period. Without these products, we may have to sell everything
I vehemently oppose your attempts to restrict my right to invest my money as I see fit including the use of leveraged funds.
I have a masters degree and use leveraged funds as a small portion of my overall investing strategy.
The last thing I need is additional regulatory hoops to be able to invest in ways that will best serve me and my family.
For me, leveraged funds are an indispensable way of dealing with market volatility. Being invested in a twice leveraged diversified equity fund, such as a leveraged SP500 fund' and holding 50% in cash, allows me not to panic in a sharp market downturn. Knowing I will not lose more than one half of my equity, allows me to make unemotional decisions when they are most needed. I request
Please increase regulations on all investments; de-regulation is a danger to our economy
leveraged funds are critical for average retail investors to obtain diversified exposure with some leverage. Please let us continue use as we see fit. Small mis-uses should not affect everyone else.
To whom this may concern. It has come to my attention that FINRA has proposed ne regulations that would limit my ability to invest in certain instruments, such as leveraged, or inverse funds. I am a truck driver who manages 80% of his investments. The proposed limitations/requirements would affectively lock me out of roughly 10/12% of my personal strategies that help me hedge against market
To whom it may concern,
Please make note that I oppose any and all limitations you are considering on my ability to purchase the BITO fund. It would be unfair of you to limit my ability to expose myself to any risk I deem acceptable when there are tons of other market risks that are less comprehensible than cryptocurrency ETFs.
I want to voice how upset this potential decision is for retail investors. FINRA should not be the arbiter of who they deem knowledgeable enough to invest in a product that is easy to understand. This is a gross overreach of power by FINRA and shows that the industry elite wants to limit what everyday investors can use to even the playing field.
