I oppose restrictions to my right to invest in TQQQ, SQQQ and other leveraged products. I have been investing in these products for years and they are no more risky that any other stocks in the market. Anybody trading in the market has to understand that there is risk involved and chooses to take that risk...regulators should not try to babysit investors by trying to tell them which stock or fund
1. You not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for you and your family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. 2. You shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities. Explain that you are capable of understanding your investments and their risks
I, not regulators, should be free to determine what public investment are suitable for myself and my family.
I'm fully capable of understanding the risks inherent in leveraged and inverse public securities products without passing a test from regulators.
Products such as these are quite useful for me to partially hedge and enhance my investment returns and should be available to
Dear Big Government,
It is not your place to tell me how or where I should invest MY hard earned money. I do not need to take a "test" in order to invest MY money where I see fit.
Like other funds, the prospectus of leveraged and inverse funds fully disclose risks they pose. These funds are important to my overall investment strategy.
I object to the efforts of FINRA to limit my ability to invest in leveraged and inverse funds. Most of our monthly income comes from leveraged funds, CEFs, BDCs, MLPs, etc. I should not have to go through any special process like passing a test to be able to invest in the manner I want to. It is my money, I should be able to invest how I want.
It is completely wrong for the government to prevent individual Americans to not be able to purchase leveraged and inverse funds. Nor should investors be required to pass tests before they can make such purchases.
It is truly none of the federal governments business how I buy my shares and what I buy.
Please desist from this terribly mistaken path you are on and drop they idea. Thank you!
Leveraged and inverse ETFs and funds are not fundamentally different than other investment choices, all of which carry risk.
For many of us these ETFs form an important part of our overall investing strategy. We, not the regulators, should have the freedom and attendent responsibility to select and use these instruments. There should be no need to pass a test or have other restrictions imposed.
I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me at my own risk. I understand the risk, and am willing to take the risk. I only put a small amount (<10%) in this type of investments. I do not wish to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, including leveraged and inverse funds.
