America is a free country founded on the principles of liberty. It is not governments role or authority to govern where citizens invest. Leveraged an inverse funds offer portfolio hedging that is otherwise difficult to obtain via standard trading accounts.
Americans should be free to research and utilize all manner of publicly traded securities in their investment portfolios. These should not be managed or limited by regulators. I utilize leveraged index-based securities regularly as a core element of my investing strategy.
I am a small invest. I would like to trade like you the big traders. So please try your hardest to think about us small traders before you change regulations. Thanks Maria
I regularly use and trade these products. They have been. Great resource and I understand the risk. The prospectus makes that very clear. Options are far more dangerous but dont have nearly the same hurdles to use that are being proposed.
There needs to be much more clarity, no self reporting, frequent third party analysis, bigger punishmemts for rule breakers. If a HF/MM can earn more than they are fined then its a business cost, they need to be fined double the profit plus face criminal proceedings. As a UK investor, i have everything in the US markets, after the manipulation of Gamestop i have no faith what so ever, even China
Your opinion on FINRA’s proposed limits that may restrict your access to L&I Funds or to disqualify you from trading L&I Funds or other "complex products". I reject the proposed limitations referenced in the above comment
Please dont take away choices from me. I believe inverse trading will be profitable. I know you dont care about me. You only care about lobbying money and big banks. Not surprising.
I do not believe that regulators should make my investment decisions. I use leverage and inverse products as a part of my trading strategies depending on the markets direction. I do not agree that I need to pass a test to invest in these product.
I am a retail trader who has invested in and traded these "complex" and "confusing" instruments for years and have made great money. They are not confusing or complex at all. Stop insulting us and do not impose any further restrictions.
Regulators should not be able to limit the public investment options my family uses to limit our exposure to the volatility of public trading markets. Leveraged and inverse investments are an important tool in helping us to accomplish this goal.
