The risks with leveraged ETFs are very well accessible to the public. Investors have the right to take such decisions that result in a volatile portfolio. I may be a professional financial analyst, but leveraged ETFs should be available to anyone willing to learn and take the risks associated.
A government of the people, by the people and for the people. Enough infringement.
I believe the market should be open to all, no matter how complex or easy. We need to be able to learn and be educated with the fundamental of money and finance.
I believe i should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me. Public investments should be available to all of the public and not just the privileged.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process
before I can invest in public securities. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me.
Stop trying to regulate retail investors. Information regarding these securities and other more complex investments is readily available. Nobody forces me to buy leveraged funds and the risks are well documented. You need to worry more about the investment whales that constantly manipulate the daily charts!!

I've been trading ProShares ETFs quite sometime now and I find them as a very useful tool in my investment strategies. Please do not limit or remove this option for us. Thanks!
