What if a regulatory regime likes annuities because they take the investment options and risk away from the citizen, and declares every other investment vehicle "complex"? It is ridculous to only allow these type of investments to certain groups of people. Especially the most wealthy! I do not agree with anyone deciding for me what I can and cant invest in I think it should be up to each individual just like I choose if I want to drink soda or candy which everyone can agree is unhealthy I feel the same regarding my money if I choose to invest at 10x leverage its up to me we should not have to go through any tests to be eligible just as it is when I buy soda
