I am AGAINST passage of FINRA’s Regulatory Notice 22-08 taking effect. I trade leveraged indexed ETF's over daily time horizons. I understand the risks intrinsic to leveraged indexed ETFs' implementation, and actively monitor my investments.
Please note that as an individual investor I oppose any limitations on my ability to buy or otherwise freely trade the Funds. There is enough disclosure already in the prospectus and brokerage firms such that investors are warned about the potential risks (and rewards) associated with the Funds.
There needs to be much more clarity, no self reporting, frequent third party analysis, bigger punishmemts for rule breakers. If a HF/MM can earn more than they are fined then its a business cost, they need to be fined double the profit plus face criminal proceedings. As a UK investor, i have everything in the US markets, after the manipulation of Gamestop i have no faith what so ever, even China
I am a retail investor with over 10 years experience and can clearly understand the risks involved. You can certainly enforce that a disclaimer is read and understood before trading, but limiting our choice will just artificially distort the market.
I strongly object to this idea. It basically deprived the freedom of retail investors to choose their own favorite financial instruments to trade. If the regulators are so concerned about it, why not publish more education resources to remind the investors about those risks?
I am opposed to any regulation WRT trading complex investments.
There has been no policy from the current Biden administration that has benefited America. This is another from FINRA. I oppose all regulation imposed by this corrupt Democrat administration.
There is no risk to trade such as tqqq if there is no use margin. I have lots of tqqq, if you regulate it what I do with that? Force close it at low to reduce my risk? Of cause that will kills me instead protecting me. Please do not regulate or limit it!!!
I strongly oppose all restrictions on my right to invest as I choose. I use leveraged and inverse etf funds to hedge my investments. Please do not try to pass regulations that will interfere with my trading and cause me to lose money
Please dont block us from trading the stocks we want, please let me decide where I want to invest and please do not restrict my purchase power. I should have the right to choose the stocks I want.
I'm fine with the proposed regulations IF YOU ALSO make it illegal for politicians to trade on insider information.
Of course you won't do this, so leave the retail investor alone.
We have enough problem competing with political cheaters as it is.
