I strongly appose the proposed restrictions on any investments. It should up to me the investor to decide what i want to do with MY money.
These restrictions will cause turbulence in trading these securities and lead to billions in losses to investors who hold these now
To whom it may concern,
The proposed rule is totally against capitalist markets. The whole nature of free markets and security trading is for people to be to decide where to invest. If they lose their investment, it should be their sole responsibility, just like it is when they gain.
Dear Sirs: Please do not restrict investment options such as trading leveraged and inverse ETFs. These funds can be an important part of a diversified portfolio. Taking investment tools from the public can increase rather than decrease risk.
Hands off our investment opportunities. If you want to regulate start with the Nancy Pelosi s of the world..no more insider trading by Congress. But hands off the little people. Were just trying to make some Pennies out here
I am a self directed trader like millions of others. I fully understand the risks and conditions under which I trade. Leveraged products are a vital part of my investment strategy. It would be wrong to limit access to traders like me.
Comments: I am well aware of the risks of trading leveraged etfs and have been doing so for many years as a hedge to other investments. I would appreciate if as an investor I am allowed to do what Is most suitable for my portfolio.
I personally have held series 3,4,7,24,55,63,66 licenses in the past and well aware of how leveraged financial instruments work!!!!
If the instrument is publicly traded the public should be able to take positions in it....quit trying to manipulate how the market works
I understand and have been trading leveraged funds for a few years and do not need to have the rules changed years after making it available to me. The leverage is not anywhere near the leverage on options and these do not expire like options do.
I believe imposing restrictions on these types of trades will only hurt those who have small funds as those who have a large amount of funding will gain more power creating an unbalanced market and there for these restrictions should not be put into place
Short interest should be disclosed daily in order to level the playing field with retail traders. Naked shorting and dark pool trading needs to be completely done away with
