I SHOULD BE ABLE TO CHOOSE THE INVESTMENTS THAT ARE RIGHT FOR ME AND MY FAMILY WITHOUT NEEDING TO GO THROUGH SPECIAL PROCESS. I AM CAPABLE OF UNDERSATNDING INVESTMENT RISKS ON MY OWN. AND SHOULD NOT BE RESTRICTED FROM ACCESSING THEM.
Comments:Leveraged and Inverse ETC. I am aware of the risk involved in these vehicle and suspect that most are also aware. Please do not limit my options Stocks get extremely difficult to short. Thank you! Glenn Williams
I believe investors should be allowed to invest in complex products and options regardless of the level of their net worth as long as they have an understanding of the products and the risk involved. I oppose limiting these investment opportunities to only high net-worth individuals.
leverages and short ets serve the small investor as a useful abd efficient tool to hedge risks. these options were not available until the advent of etfs. the rights of the small investor to benefit from these tools needs to be preserved.
Inverse ETFs are a valuable tool that help retail investors hedge long exposures without the complexities and risks of using put options. Please do not limit our access to these vehicles. Thank you for your consideration.
Instead of restricting people from using leveraged instruments, work on educating people on the advantages and disadvantages. It is our money at risk, and we should not be restricted because a handful of individuals got clobbered using a use these tools.
This is insane. If I want to take on a large risk profile who are you tell me what to invest and not invest into. This is borderline communism not letting me pick and choose where to place my money in a free and open market
The Government should not be over stepping their power by restricting us from investing in the way we choose. We know the risks and are able to make our own choices. We need to have all the options on the table.
Prohibiting these investments is regulatory overreach. Required attestations and waivers should be enough to let individual investors manage their own risks. Moreover, implementing a net worth minimum just reserves the ability for enhanced returns for the already-wealthy.
This is my money, I do not need anyone telling me how to invest it. I am assuming the risk involved in investing by using my money to make those investments. I do not need permission to invest my money.
