I have been investing in leveraged and inversed funds, as one of my strategies, for over twenty years and have a very good understanding of my investments. Now, with your proposed rule, you are taking away my freedom to select how I invest in a well respected investment selection. If you want to control, which you seem to want to do, go after crypto, because it is going to cost investors big time

I use leveraged inverse funds to hedge my portfolio during times of market turbulence. This means I eliminate volatility from my portfolio during volatile times. I am able to do this with leveraged funds and reduce the amount of margin I may need to use since the fund is leveraged at a better rate. Please let investors make this decision for themselves.

Properly structured, leveraged and inverse funds provide investors with alternative methods of making their money work for them. I believe they have a place in a the investment world.
