I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my investment goals. I think it is appropriate to have to read some basic warnings about the dangers of such investments such as leveraged or inverse funds but I should not have to take special tests before I am allowed to invest in such instruments

I want to have maximum flexibility on the type of stocks, mutual funds, and all ETFs that fit my investment strategy. Using leveraged ETFs is a significant part of my strategy and has been for the last 10 years. like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on you. You do not need to protect me from myself. Go do something useful and so not waste tax dollars chasing wild dreams
As long as people can go lose fortunes in Vegas, its absolutely asinine for you to try to tell people what they can and cant invest in. In Vegas, you're virtually guaranteed to lose money.. whereas with an investment, at least there is a calculable probability of profitability.
Please do not restrict the public's ability to utilize leveraged and inverse ETFs as investment vehicles. These instruments provide investors with great methods to hedge portfolios, enhance returns, and fine-tune an investment portfolio.
I frequently use these types of ETFs to mitgate downside risks, target specific sectors, and hedge against market risks.
