Hi, Having the ability to hedge my retirement funds is essential when there is high volatility in a high volatile world. The easiest way to do this is with a leveraged inverse ETF of the SP500 or Nasdaq. The drift risk in a leveraged inverse ETF is a lot les risky compared to options trading or short selling to hedge a portfolio. Options are complicated, expensive and short-term forms of
Hello, please allow US Citizens to continue to have choice in where and how their retirement funds are invested.
It only makes sense.
If safeguards are being considered in this space, please consider the experience and goals of each participant in the spectrum you are considering to place limitation upon.
This proposed regulation is nothing more than a violation of the right of the people to engage in lawful commerce. A free market economy needs to be a free market for all and not only the social or political elite. I should be able to decide when, where, and how I will manage my money and my investments.
The most disturbing thing about this proposed rule is the "cooling off"
Regulators need to allow individual investors the ability to purchase leveraged securities as it is usually tagged to an actual index of securities. Focus on regulating crypto which is the largest risk to individual investors as it is backed by air, dreams, and greed and especially dangerous now that they are allowed in retirement accounts.

I am a retired invidual small investor. Please do not impose restrictions on an individuals ability to purchase and sell inverse and leveraged funds. These funds can play an important part of an investment portfolio and are an important tool to utilize for hedging investments during times of market uncertainty.
Dear regulators, it is very important for me to have the freedom to use inverse and/or leveraged ETF's in real time and on a minutes notice, as part of my IRA account strategies. Without it, my retirement would be in jeopardy. I strongly oppose the proposed rule. Thank you.
I have been trading leveraged ETF's for years as part of my investment strategy in my savings and retirement accounts. I don't think we should have to pass a test ton continue to do this or any government agency should limit our right to do this.
I oppose restrictions to my right to investing, including restricting the buying of inverse funds. I am a small independent investor for my own retirement portfolio, and being able to hedge against market volatility is critical. Please don't take away the rights of small, individual investors.
