I strongly oppose any restrictions to invest in leveraged and inverse securities. This is a fundamental right for any investor. Why would this suddenly become an issue? If I am willing to take the risks for these type of investments why would regulators oppose this?
Leveraged and inverse funds provide valuable alternative investment vehicle for investors to properly manage risk in their portfolios. The proposed measures to artificially restrict trading - or potentially eliminate trading in these vehicles is a gross over-reach by the government which are not needed.
Regulators shouldn't have the right to place restrictions on what we invest in. This limits our ability to make our own investment decisions and create wealth for ourselves. I assume all risk for my own investment decisions.
These regulations which are meant to help the American investor fundamentally destroy the economic opportunity that investors seek. In attempting to limit risk they also limit many of the best opportunities, strategies and ideas. These regulations fundamentally limit economic freedom.
You are not serious are you? Retail knows and has improved in understanding stock market more than brokers and agents. This is not needed. They take less risk as it involves their money unlike brokers who use others money to buy.
I oppose new restrictions on my right to invest in public investments using leveraged and inverse funds.
I have read the the warnings and am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.
No further regulation is necessary.
Thank you.
Leveraged funds have been an important way I have improved returns. Inverse funds have allowed me to reduce risk of market crashes. People should be able to do this without having a high net worth.
As per the regulations i think bito share are invest able, we do understand the risk behind the share and we think it should not be stop for trading. As a owner of bito I stick by not supporting any restrictions on trade on bito share
More regulation on something most people don't understand like crypto currency is shameful. Let risk take its course. those who lose can only blame themselves and don't need a shoulder to cry on
As an investor for over 60 years I find it to be questionable, at best, that actions such as those included in Notice #22-08 are being considered. People have the right to invest their money as they see fit. It is not the function of regulators to shelter investors from risk.
