I believe I shouldn't have to go through and special process to invest in leveraged or inverse funds. I fully understand how they work and I am aware of the risks.
I have full and complete understanding in the risks involved in the investments that I purchase. I want freedom of choice. I do not need a regulator to limit my investment choices.
I oppose limitations on our ability to buy the Proshares or any other leveraged or inverse funds. We should be able to invest freely in whatever funds as we assume the risk.

It is unfair to place restrictions on lay people. Let us continue to have the ability to control our investments.We can evaluate our own risk levels.
I do not need restrictions placed on my investment potential. It is enough that investors are advised of the risk before making that decision. This proposal is an overkill regulation that take investor rights away.
Leveraged funds are important to my investment strategy and it is used to seek enhanced returns.
Although there could be down side of these funds, risk does exist and it is considered.
I regard ProShares Short S&P as a viable alternative method of hedging portfolio risk.
I urge you to let investors continue to use this and similar securities in their portfolios.
