We lived in a free market society, if I or anyone else wants to risk our money on investments the government should not be able to decide who has the opportunity to do so.
I understand the risks and the benefits of leveraged ETF. I still can trade options. For years I prefer to trade these leverage ETF. I hope you dont change the rules.
Thanks,
Pallop.
I AM FULLY AWARE OF THE RISKS INVOLVED, AND DO MY OWN RESEARCH, AND HAVE DONE REASONALBLY WELL IN THOSE INVESTMENTS. AND DEEPLY RESENT YOUR EFFORTS TO PPARENT ME.
Last time I checked this was a free country. These restrictions are not warranted. Doing options - calls and puts carries more risk. Letting Proshares do this for investors makes sense.
I have a good deal invested in leverage funds on my high risk portfolio side, changing policy to not let me recover or wait strategy out is unacceptable.
Investors should be doing their own due diligence and be responsible for their own investment decisions. These investment products help people reduce risk by hedging and diversifying other positions.
It's my money I am investing. Not yours. Why do you have a say in what I invest in? How is this protecting me? I understand all risk involved.
Quite simply put - my money, my choice. Keep your hands off of my personal investment strategy - I understand the risks and don't need a babysitter.
I am not confused about Direxion, and ProShares levered and inverse ETFs. I use them without worrying about the risks to margin trading and educated about the products volatility.
Each person should be able to choose the public investments and risks that are right for him and his family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
