Horrible idea. Let investors take their own risks. Maintaining ability of regular investors to use these funds allow us to invest with lower costs due to reasonable volume.
These types of investments should be available to all investors. An acknowledgment of the risks associated should be required, but there should not be additional criteria that would limit choice for non-high net worth investors.
I dont need anyone limiting way I use Etf or other securities levered or unlevered. Its America. We all know our risk profiles. Caveat emptor
Please don't limit my ability to invest in inverse funds without passing tests and reading large amounts of data. I am capable of understanding inverse funds and their risk.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. I will take the risk if I decide to purchase a suck kind of product. So there is no reason to forbid us to have more choices.

If you can allow Securities like Bitcoin to be traded without any intrinsic value. Why not leveraged/ inverse ETFs?
Comments: The investors that use these funds understand the risk. The broker dealers list disclosures on the sights.
Restricting access to them is not necessary.
They are made to be volatile that is why we like them.
Exposure to risk in financial world to gain certain reward should be a choice. All these choices in Market is what makes it beautiful. PTD rule is ENOUGH to protect the retail investors.
I do not need you to protect me from myself. Leave leveraged investments available to everyone. Its not up to you to decide how much risk I can take.
