Regulators should not be able to prevent me or force me to take tests before I can invest in public securities like TQQQ.
I understand about investor funds and their risk. The above
fund has allowed me to easily increase my retirement funds, so
do not take that away from me.
These regulations would be taking a valuable tool away from investors. They would impinge on our ability to hedge our accounts against loss. We would need to become short sellers, which is much more risky and unavailable in retirement accounts. Your proposed rules would increase market risk.
Banning leveraged ETFs only closes off another avenue of options for the retail investor while making them available to institutional investors only. Retail investors also need access to affordable leverage which is what leveraged ETFs provide. A standard unlevered portfolio is no longer sufficient in todays world for retirement.
Please do not restrict my access to invest in leveraged and inverse funds. They help me and my family as part on my investment portfolio as i now am entering my retirement. I follow a disciplined investment plan that uses these funds. Thank you so much reading my comment and have a great day !
Prior to retirement I was in the securities industry for over 40 years, a substantial period was spent as a partner of a major securities firm as VP in charge of derivatives. I dealt with people and firms with an interest and need to hedge their risk - my own portfolio is hedged appropriately with the instruments you mention. The proposals that you consider are needless and counter productive.
I have been trading Pro shares TQQQ 3x leveraged etf for years as my retirement income. Without the ability to trade this equity I would have to discontinue and go to work! Who would hire an 83 yr OLD GUY? My opinion is investors using the leveraged equity know what the are doing!!
Greetings, Without the ability to trade leveraged/geared funds many main street investors will fall short of a viable savings to retire securely. Given the shortcomings of our elected officials to address fair and equitable Social Security reform it is up to us and the current wide range of investment options to secure our own future.
I've successfully used leveraged and inverse funds for several years, and have been able to more quickly rebuild my retirement account as a result of the economic damage incurred during the last financial crisis.
I strongly support these investment tools that believe they should continue to be available to everyone without restrictive policies and exclusions.
You Regulators should not have the ability to restrict my investment strategies. Inverse etfs are the only way I can make money for my retirement when the market is down. You already restrict the amount of day trades I can make because I dont have enough money. Stay out of our investments!
Who benefits from these additional regulations? There should be no restrictions on my ability to invest in public securities and to use them as an enhancement to my portfolio. This administration has already devastated my retirement funds by mismanaging the economy and directly causing extreme inflation and now want to limit my ability to augment my portfolio?
