I believe I have a right to make my own investment decisions .
I strongly oppose the proposed limitations on leveraged funds. I fully understand the risks and benefits , and I do not want regulators to make decisions for me.
I do not require or do I need " Big Brother or Sister" deciding what's best for me and my family. I consider myself mature and wise enough to accept the risk and reward that is inherent in the world of investing...
This proposal is unconstitutional and can only be decided by individual states. Additionally you can simply warn people about the risks but not make it more difficult to invest or trade in certain funds as that is an undue burden.
Dear Sirs:
I am a individual self-directed investor. I rely on leveraged and inverse ETFs from time to time. Please do not make this more difficult. The investing public need such funds to limit risk.
Financial decisions are included in the rights guaranteed to individuals in the pursuit of life, liberty and happiness. Those so engaged understand and accept the risks involved in such activity. The only things guaranteed in life are death and taxes.
i oppose limitations on my investments. i should be able to choose investments. i should NOT have to go through special processes to invest in public securities. i am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.
Hi,
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. I am capable of understanding leveraged securities and inverse funds and their risks and I, not financial regulators, should be the one making my investment decisions.
Investors should have the ability to invest at their own risk to leveraged and inverse funds. Taking that ability away would be detrimental to investors. Retail should have the ability to invest their money as they see fit.
Please do not take away my ability to purchase 2x and 3x Proshare funds. I use them to increase my risk, but at the same time doing it across a broad range of securities (e.g. Russell 2000).
We don't need more "nanny" police. Investors know their investments are at risk. What are you going to do next - force everyone to only put money in FDIC insured savings accounts????
