Leveraged and inverse funds are important for my investment strategy. I understand the risk associated with them. These investments are a limited part of my portfolio. I also use them to hedge my investments and to seek enhanced returns.
Its up to investors and brokers to fulfill educational requirements around suitability and best interests around investing decisions. These are safer than using long call options with more time decay and timing risk.
Please let the investors decide which investments products are best of them. They assume risk when they buy , so denying access is unnecessary and also unfair to investors without high net worth. Thank u.
I fully understand the risks involved in leveraged securities. They are an important part of my long term strategy. I don't think I should have to pass a test to continue investing in these securities, i have made money doing it.
I should be able to make my own investment decisions. I don't need a gov't agency to be a babysitter.
I use inverse funds to hedge risk. Don't put restrictions on who can use these kinds of instruments.

There are already various warnings that pop up when investing in complex and inverse funds. I am capable of making my own investment and risk decisions. No need to limit or bias the market.

As a retail investor and woman, I am opposed to all rules such as this, that allow the rich to invest more freely than me. I resent the insinuation that I don't understand the risk of my investments. This is an equity/class issue! Do better.
I have the right to invest on whatever financial property while I am fully aware of its risk. It is unfair if the access to the rather complex investment becomes limited only to institutional investors. Please leave them as is.
