Inverse funds help me protect/hedge my investments especially within accounts where using alternative methods (i.e. shorting, derivatives, etc.) is not available. Leveraged funds help me enhance my returns in a similar manner except to the upside in, mostly retirement, accounts where options trading isn't available.
Leveraged and inverse funds are central to my investment strategy. I am not a multi-millionaire and am retired. My strategy has been successful in supplementing my social security. You would take this away by passing yet another measure designed to protect me and others from the pitfalls of unsuccessful investing.

I have been engaged in the market for over 40 years. I utilize leveraged and inverse funds in a deliberative and judicious manner to balance my portfolio. I find it insulting that the proposed over-reaching regulations posted years after I have made my careful financial plans would severely penalize me in my retirement years.
The FINRA Foundation has retired the Moneytopia game and tutorials, as the underlying Flash Player technology is no longer supported by Adobe. Try out other FINRA investor education tools and resources, including a series of mini-modules on investing.

The ability to trade at anytime combined with single company potential returns without the single company risk are huge investment advantages that cannot be found with any other product.
Leveraged investing in TQQQ provided a way for me to retire ... because my $2,250 monthly social security is WAY BELOW a half-way decent standard of living.
$30 trillion in debt... and inflation similarly growing out of control, and you want to legislate away my ability to protect myself against my irresponsible Congress...obsurd!
I'm a self directed woman investor and NOT in favor of anyone decided what I can and can't invest in based on wealth, complexity of investment, or whether or not I can pass a test. Making the changes suggested will eliminate my ability to fund my retirement at a reasonable level, that I have been carefully and diligently saving and investing for for over 3 decades.
