I should be able to choose which investments I make, if they are publicly traded then regular investors should not be impeded. I understand the risks involved and should not have to go through any special processes to invest leveraged and inverse funds.
I have been using leveraged funds to invest for the last 10 years and it would be very sad if it was taken away. There are plenty of warnings of what the risks are. Why take this away and punish investors who rely on these funds?
Investors should be able to freely buy leveraged and inverse funds. The fund descriptions and risks are clearly spelled out by ProShares and other companies as well as the online brokerages that have warnings when attempting to buy these shares.
I should have to right to invest in any public company/fund I want to without jumping through hoops.
I understand the risks of such investments and am comfortable with them. Taking away these investment options from me would be ridiculous
FINRA -

I regularly use and trade these products. They have been. Great resource and I understand the risk. The prospectus makes that very clear. Options are far more dangerous but dont have nearly the same hurdles to use that are being proposed.
SQQQ is a protection for stock account, if forbidden to treat, there is no way for individual stock holders to protect their account other then by options, which is very risk. I do hope FINRA can reconsider the deletion of SQQQ. Thank you!
Do not restrict my ability to use leveraged or inverse funds. It is my money after all and an important part of my investment strategy. I understand the risks involved and have used these vehicles for years without incident.
