Summary
With the recent increase in the number of customers seeking to open brokerage accounts and trade options, FINRA reminds members of the requirements for determining whether to approve a customer to trade options. Regardless of whether the account is self-directed or options are being recommended, members must perform due diligence on the customer and collect information about the customer
The options for rich people to invest are already significantly more than everyone else, why would we restrict one more option. I understand what I'm doing in leveraged asset classes and the risks they contain.
as investor and trader, we are aware of risks associate with trades, all trades. ETF including inverse etf are essential tooks we employ to adjust complicate, dynamic market conditions. I oppose restrictions to such etfs. thanks
I object to the possibility of restricting my investment choices. I fully understand leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. For years leveraged and inverse funds have been important to my investment strategy and I would like it to stay that way.
Leveraged eft are the few investing tool available to me and most small retail investors. If we cant use them, then we may have to borrow from margin which will cost more and with more risk.
I am a seasoned investor who invests in leveraged funds I am not accredited but understand the risks involved. By removing the ability to trade leveraged etfs and funds would be doing myself and many others an injustice thank you
I have been investing leveraged etf for 12 years and I love them . As long as investors understand the risk involved there should not be any limitations . Almost every stock on the pink exchange is risker than leveraged etf
I have been invested in leveraged and inverse funds for several years and want the freedom to continue doing that. I don't need regulators choosing my investments. I am fully capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks.
I have traded leveraged etf for 20 years. I read the prospective and used the leveraged etf to reduce some risks. I want to this tool to be available to me, not just the privileged. I dont want regulars to impose a test on me.
It would be preposterous to restrict purchase of securities that permit me to hedge my risk.
Not sure why regulators would consider themselves as more concerned about my financial well being than I am myself.
