Please do not add more hurtles to investing in inverse ETFs and leveraged ETFs.
Ive used several ProShares leveraged inverse/ short ETFs to act as over night insurance for my bond and equity funds, i.e to reduce loss when fear is roiling the markets. I am in my late 50s, I also trade long ETFs where I hold for brief periods to improve my overall return. I consider both long and short, leveraged
I should have the right to choose the investments that fit my family. We should have to go through a special process to invest. Leverage and inverse funds are what i like to invest in and are important to me.
ME not regulators OR BIG GOVERNMENT!!! should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged!!!!
Comments: inverse options provide a good hedge against downside risk!
I have been using these funds as part of my portfolio for over ten years and I should not be forced to stop. I dont have the time to research individual stocks but I can follow trends in our economy. That is why I like these funds. Please do not make any changes. Bill Grigat
A fool and their money are lucky enough to be together in the first place!
Govt stay out of my investment selections and do your job of ensuring a fair, public market, nothing else! My business is my business, not yours!
I am not interested in getting help from a government agency deciding what investments are suitable for me. The existing restrictions have already gone too far. I use leveraged and specialized ETFs in my IRA to compensate for the lack of choices in my employer's 401k.
There is no risk to trade such as tqqq if there is no use margin. I have lots of tqqq, if you regulate it what I do with that? Force close it at low to reduce my risk? Of cause that will kills me instead protecting me. Please do not regulate or limit it!!!
I, not regulators, should be able to choose public investments right for me. I should not have to go through any special process. My investments are my business, not regulators.
I oppose these regulations , its our freedom of choice to invest in public investments.
