I've passed the finra series 65 exam and understand the risks of investing in leveraged funds. I only invest my employer match into risky assets and keep my own saving in market funds, this is an unreasonable restriction on retail investors.
I understand the risks involved with these types of investments.
With the ones I hold, I am hoping for interest rates to go up. No matter what type of security I purchase I can loose money. Stocks are shorted Bonds are shorted so what's the difference.
I totally, 100%, disapprove of regulation of leveraged investments. I am an investor of over 40 years, and there is risk in any investment. I utilize only one such investment, and use to have a position in a market in which I am considering investment in the physical asset.
Its important to continue to allow innovative financial solutions like leveraged assets. I feel this type of asset is of lesser risk than many other asset options. Ie individual low quality stocks, SPACs and options contracts.
Access to leveraged and inverse funds is integral to hedging market risks with a reasonable portion of my portfolio. These products are not too complex for intelligent adults to understand and use as part of their portfolio. Please do not restrict access to these type of investment vehicles
I not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for you and your family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged.
I acknowledge the risk and is my decision to invest in whatever I deemed appropriate for me.
Thanks
I would like the flexibility to buy. It should be left to individual investors to decide if they want to buy leveraged and/or inverse funds.
I use these funds to manage my risk and to achieve better returns. Please do not take away this.
Thanks.
Hello - I am a 40 year experienced sophisticated investor. I have traded/invested in leveraged etfs for the last 10 years. I understand the risk they involve. I would like to continue to have the opportunity to have this vehicle as part of my investing choices.
I honestly believe that any investors or traders should know their own risk and regulators should not interfere with it as there are thousands and thousands of full time traders who could lost their passion and jobs if regulators will stop the leveraged etfs!!!
Thanks,
Sujan
Please don't restrict any of my investment rights. More regulation will only lead to higher cost and to less choices. Let the investors decide in what they want to invest and how much risk they want to take. Thank you.
