I honestly believe that any investors or traders should know their own risk and regulators should not interfere with it as there are thousands and thousands of full time traders who could lost their passion and jobs if regulators will stop the leveraged etfs!!!
Thanks,
Sujan
I not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for you and your family.
Public investments should be available to all of the public,
not just the privileged.
I acknowledge the risk and is my decision to invest in whatever I deemed appropriate for me.
Thanks
The job of government is not to take away voters' rights to make their own financial decisions. Regulations like this always have unintended consequences. Let people win or lose based on their own risk and reward philosophies and willingness to do the homework.
If an investment product is available on the public market, anyone should be able to buy it. There are risks and rewards and they are the responsibility of the investor. The investor does not need special education, nor have above average means. Information on any of these products is freely available.
Please don't restrict any of my investment rights. More regulation will only lead to higher cost and to less choices. Let the investors decide in what they want to invest and how much risk they want to take. Thank you.
As a retiree who invests in these securities I understand very well the risks and benefits involved. I and Im sure most others who trade in this space are more than capable of deciding where to invest. This is another government overreach and should be abandoned.
I want the freedom to use investment vehicles I deem appropriate for my risk tolerance. leverage seems to be a problem for the large institutional investor. Individuals like myself use leverage at a much lower exposure. Regulate the institutional investor not the individual.
It is proper for a free responsible person to be exposed to all of the public. Freely choosing the risk and reward could help shape future market because people may get more depressed and worried if you took financial tools away.
Losing the ability to invest in leveraged funds would put me at a financial disadvantage. It would disrupt long-term investment strategies I've already undertaken. I understand the risks and only use them as a limited part of my overall assets.
I know the risks of leveraged and inverse funds. I use them to enhance my portfolio. I'm an educate person, and do not need someone telling me what I can or can't do with my investments. I don't need to take a test.
