Leveraged ETFs, including inverse funds are an important tool to everyday retail investors to hedge their assets and to increase their chances for successful investing and trading. These funds give the small investor an opportunity to compete with the big brokerage firms in a highly manipulated market, often fueled by high frequency trading of stocks, bonds, and options. I strongly reject the
Investor as myself should have right to choose the public investments that are suitable for my and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am fully capable of understanding leveraged
I lodge my comment on FINRA Regulatory Notice #22-08 opposing the proposed action by FINRA. Investors have legitimate risk management reasons for investing in leveraged and inverse funds as part of their retirement or other plans. Personally, I use these funds to mitigate the risk in my bond portfolios to interest rate increases that negatively impact these fixed income valuations. I understand
I am against limiting my options to invest in "complex" investments. I do not run an investing business in any capacity. I am an individual investor. These restrictions would be taking an important tool out of my toolbelt. I should be able to make my own choices on what risk I want to take and when. I should not have to go through testing and other restrictions as I am
I see this as another pathetic attempt at making investing and trading inaccessible to the average retail broker. All investors no matter the size should be able to invest in whatever they like. I personally have lost thousands over the past year investing in leveraged ETFs. However, I accept the losses and take them as a learning experience. All traders should be responsible for knowing the
I dont see how this new regulation is necessary, since the stock market is open to the PUBLIC to invest. Then I believe it should only be right for the OURSELVES (the investors) to choose what should be right for us. I can see why this regulation can benefit a few people, but I dont understand why it would be necessary to enforce it onto everyone. Just like some people gets violated or insulted
It is outrageous that regulators want to treat the average investor like a second class citizen. Why do we need to take tests in order to buy an ETF?? This is America and we should be able to invest as we see fit. We should have the same access to the same products as anyone else.
Why should you need a degree in finance in order to buy an ETF? Similar to owning a gold ETF instead of owning gold
To whom it may concern,
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest in any public investments of all types.
I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and your family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.

Hello, As a person who has personally traded leveraged funds for years it would be detrimental to both myself and my family to be restricted from doing so. I do not feel that it is appropriate for you to restrict us from trading these funds. Leveraged funds are a key part of our investment strategy and we understand the risks associated with them. We feel that if we choose to invest our money
I should be able to freely choose the public investments that are right for me. Not regulators. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I have been managing my own investments for 30 years, and I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities like leveraged and inverse funds. I
