Dear regulators,
I believe, the US is a free country and it should be my choice of what I want to invest into and what not, not you. I originally came from a communist country where the government and regulators controlled and regulated every citizens' life. You are starting to remind me of those days.
Why are you going to punish responsible investors like me for a few irresponsible and
Rather than limiting access to these products, perhaps increase education on them. Leveraged products are not discussed in any academic curriculum on neither a high school level nor university level. Word of mouth is the most common way for people to discover leveraged products. When I was first entering the markets at the ripe age of 15, one of the first investments I was told about was DWTI -
Hello, I disagree with the rules this document is proposing. These products are cleared labeled as leverage products and the retail investor is aware of the risks and strategies involved. These are outlined in the prospectus and online which are sent to every trader. This would be a barrier to entry and unnecessary burden for retail investors who already are required to acknowledge the risks when
In regards to more frequent reporting of Short Interest to weekly or Daily, I agree. Some of these rules feel in place from older times. Along with their responsibilities to the securities industry, FINRA employees have responsibilities to all of FINRA’s other
Dear Regulators, (FINRA)
I understand my investments and the risk involved in my trads. I should not have to go through any special process before investing in public securities. The fund I am in allows trades for up markets and down markets which allows me to make up my loss if any by shorting different funds. Like today's market, I have been able to make money for my IRA instead of
Comments: I believe that access to leveraged and inverse funds has helped me hedge my portfolio. Without these products my portfolio would slide to zero. Do not make any changes in this volatile environment. There is no need to enhance any rules.
Do not restrict or disqualify my right to trade these products.
The purpose is short term active hedging.

You should do more to educate people on our modern financial system instead of taking away their ability to invest how they see fit. It's not your concern how or why I invest my money. If Nancy Pelosi and other politicians can participate in stock market trades all while making laws that affect company stock price, then I should be able to decide how I want to invest my dollar.
Do you
