I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me. I have used leveraged ETFs for 5+ years and don't want restrictions placed on my ability to do so. They are extremely important component of my investments.
I am able to read prospectuses and make my own decision on investing. I have been investing and understand the risks in it. I should not be limited in what I can invest in. I should not have to take a test or a course to determine if I should or should not invest in an investment. Thank you.
I am a high net worth investor with a masters degree and should have the right to choose my investments. You should not be choosing them for me. I am aware of the risk associated with leveraged and inverse funds and choose to use them as hedges in my portfolio.
I believe that restricting leveraged and inverse ETFs is unnecessary as existing prospectuses already list and explain risks associated with these investments. Although I have passed the series 65, I see no reason that this certification or any other certifying exam would be necessary or beneficial to invest in these ETFs.
Individual investors know, understand, and are fully aware of their risks when it comes to leveraged and inverse funds. We dont need your restrictions. We need you to worry about protecting the individuals rights to trade freely in anything we see fit.
I do NOT support regulatory changes proposed on leveraged ETF and other funds. These proposed regulations assume the investor doesnt have knowledge of what they are buying. The risks with these funds are well known and disclosed by my brokerage firm. No further regulation is needed. Thank you.
I am a CFA charter holder and I believe it is every investors right to freely access the entirety of the public securities markets without arbitrary restrictions. Please do not ban leveraged ETFs. They can be a great risk management tool for those who use responsibly.
Please do not limit or restrict my rights to invest in public securities. Such investments should be available to all and not limited to those privileged by regulation. All investments have risk and transparency, information and education are preferred over regulations restricting or eliminating individual rights.
Of course it is important that investor have access to all the information and risks associated to an investment and the marketing of Investment vehicles must be strictly regulated to ensure that people are not incorrectly enticed into inappropriate investments. But the right to chose what investments are right for oneself is critical and must be protected.
The government should not restrict trades on any leveraged funds including Pro shares. They should be traded like any mutual funds or ETFs to be fair. I do not believe that the risk from any leveraged funds are more riskier than mutual funds or ETFs.
