I strongly oppose regulators adding restrictions, making it difficult for investors to make their own investment choices. It is investorss decision in terms of how much risk they are willing to take and how they would like to invest their money. Please treat investors as adults and respect them as adults.
To whom it may concern: As an individual investor I should be able to choose what type of investment options I can invest in at my own risk. I don't need big government "deep state" to interfere. I strongly oppose restrictions on my right to invest in public funds.
As an investor I am aware of risks involved with any trade. More regulation of the types of trade I am allowed to participate in is over-regulation and unnecessary. Don't deny me the opportunity to seek gains by choosing investments that you may deem as too risky or requiring more education.
Regulators need to allow individual investors the ability to purchase leveraged securities as it is usually tagged to an actual index of securities. Focus on regulating crypto which is the largest risk to individual investors as it is backed by air, dreams, and greed and especially dangerous now that they are allowed in retirement accounts.
I oppose the proposed restrictions to leveraged and inverse funds as well as other investment strategies that are considered "risky." The primary reason I use options are to minimize my risk because I have to invest in the market. Let the buyer beware and suffer or reap the rewards of their own investment decisions.
I disagree with additional regulations affecting or limiting investor freedom to invest in leveraged and/or inverse securities in a timely manner. Rather investor caution can be increased at the time of transaction including examples and contango effect to increase investor awareness of the unique risks of leveraged/inverse securities.
People should be free to invest their money how they see fit. Implementations barriers that only allow wealthy to invest is going to shut doors for people to invest rather than open them. Regulation should simply being acknowledging the risk of the investment nothing more
This type of should not be removed from access to the genral public. There should always be information available to understand what the risks are with all investments. Those are in place with the current laws. Please do not constrain our investment options with laws that oppress our individual investment decisions.
Inverse funds are used as a means to hedge investments. There is ample information and training online regarding short ETFs and therefore testing investors is an unnecessary administrative and financial burden. Regulations should not be put imposed on individuals who should have the freedom to manage their own risk.
Leveraged and inverse funds are extremely important to my overall investment strategies. I understand the risks of leveraged funds and use them to capture upside in the markets. Several popular single-name stocks have proven to be even more volatile and risky than 3x leveraged funds.
