I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I'm fully capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me.
I should be able to choose my publicly offered investments or pay an advisor to do so on my behalf without a bunch of unnecessary regulations and requirements. Im sure if the usual basic information regarding investment pros/cons and risks would suffice in making financial decisions.
It's important for these markets to be driven by real people. As lay investors, we have a right to form our own informed opinion of risk and benefit when investing; we don't need regulators to stop us just because they think a product is too risky.
The use of inverse funds helps me reduce risk in times of market

I personally have 50+ years in the securities Industry as a former member of the NYSE and several Securities Licenses with FINRA. I also believe it is the individual's choice when it comes to investments. If there is a complaint of any kind due to losses, they have a right to arbitration or mediation. Is there risk involved? Absolutely!

I understand the risks and benefits associated with leveraged ETFs and they are a part of my overall investing strategy.
Not being able to continue to implement them in my investment policy would be a detriment to my financial success. Please do not impose harmful limits on placing/making trades of this nature.
There should be no one and or no government state or federal that should be allowed to tell those who desire to invest to put restrictions on it. There is always a note clearly stating that there is risk involved with all investments. Let the FINRA continue to safeguard the investing public against fraud and bad practices.
I wouldn't be investing if it wasn't for ETF's. They are great for day trading 10k dollars. I should be allowed to take a 3x risk in order to get a 3x reward. This regulation directly attacks the small retail investors and helps gigantic hedge funds. The stock market is for everyone. This is America!
This is an overreach by the regulators. Not necessary! Do the right thing let me choose to investments I have made the educated decision to invest in. Everyone knows investments are a risk so don't use that to hide behind like you are protecting someone. You are taking away our rights to invest.
