Investors should not face additional regulation for any securities or leveraged securities. I have had tremendous success with owning leveraged securities of many types. All investments are currently purchased at our own risk and we dont need any test or further regulations to do so.
As a personal investor in leveraged ETFs, I fully understand the potential risks and consequences that come along with said investments. Being they are legal and regulated funds, I should be able to make the decision whether or not to invest in them on my own accord, and not have FINRA make that decision for me. Thank you.
I know the risk and I know the rewards. So, please don't regulate my ability to invest in the various funds/ETFs I currently have available, including inverse and leveraged ETFs... In other words, please don't be like typical Washington bureaucracies and [REDACTED] things up for the rest of America. Thanks!
I want the access to be able invest in leveraged and inverse funds. I understand the risks and dont want take a test to have the access to invest in leveraged and inverse funds. Inverse funds helps me protect my net worth and savings since its hedge against market drops.
Regulate wall street not main street. You are just adding extra hoops for retail traders to jump through. If a retail trader wants to take on a lot of risk, they will find a way to do it. You are not protecting anyone. This will just widen the gap between the average investor and institutional investors.
I shouldn't have to go through any special process before I can invest in public securities using vehicles like leveraged and inverse funds. I am fully capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. I do not need nor want these measures you are trying to impose.
Leveraged and inverse funds are important to my investment strategies. They protect my investments enhance returns and I understand how they work and their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me. I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and they should be available to all of the public not just the privileged.
Comments: Hi, leveraged instruments have done well for me and I'm fully aware of the risks. They're mine to take. By removing access to the average customer, you're hurting them and being excessive in regulation.
I support reasonable checks like with options trading but not to discourage investors excessively.
Please make sure that you impose stringent requirements for qualified investors to purchase complex securities, lest the financial industry put the economy at risk by duping thousands of naive investors as it has in the past. Also, consider outlawing especially dubious investments with no social utility, like cryptocurrency.
The SEC has no business limiting investors in any way. They already enforce their will through litigation, something completely arbitrary. The investor is at risk while investing, that's why it's investing and not guaranteed.
The SEC is an embarrassment and should be dismantled. Gatekeeping upward mobility under the guise of protection is absurd.
