I lodge my comment on FINRA Regulatory Notice #22-08 opposing the proposed action by FINRA. Investors have legitimate risk management reasons for investing in leveraged and inverse funds as part of their retirement or other plans. Personally, I use these funds to mitigate the risk in my bond portfolios to interest rate increases that negatively impact these fixed income valuations. I understand

Leveraged ETFs, including inverse funds are an important tool to everyday retail investors to hedge their assets and to increase their chances for successful investing and trading. These funds give the small investor an opportunity to compete with the big brokerage firms in a highly manipulated market, often fueled by high frequency trading of stocks, bonds, and options. I strongly reject the
Hello, As a person who has personally traded leveraged funds for years it would be detrimental to both myself and my family to be restricted from doing so. I do not feel that it is appropriate for you to restrict us from trading these funds. Leveraged funds are a key part of our investment strategy and we understand the risks associated with them. We feel that if we choose to invest our money
I am aware of the restrictions that may be introduced on my leveraged investments and I strongly appose any limitations likely to be considered on these investments! As a private investor I should be allowed to choose where to invest my capital as I take full responsibility for the outcomes of my investment strategy. I understand leveraged and inverse funds and am fully aware of the risks

I dont see how this new regulation is necessary, since the stock market is open to the PUBLIC to invest. Then I believe it should only be right for the OURSELVES (the investors) to choose what should be right for us. I can see why this regulation can benefit a few people, but I dont understand why it would be necessary to enforce it onto everyone. Just like some people gets violated or insulted
I should be able to freely choose the public investments that are right for me. Not regulators. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged.
I have been managing my own investments for 30 years, and I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities like leveraged and inverse funds. I
It is outrageous that regulators want to treat the average investor like a second class citizen. Why do we need to take tests in order to buy an ETF?? This is America and we should be able to invest as we see fit. We should have the same access to the same products as anyone else.
Why should you need a degree in finance in order to buy an ETF? Similar to owning a gold ETF instead of owning gold
