I believe strongly that this limitation goes against the nature of the free market which has been established in this country for many years. Any market participant has come to an understanding that there exists

Dear FINRA Regulators:
I use Public Investments as a tool to build my financial future and that of my family. As an investor I want to have all options available to me and they should be available to others too, at any time, with no restrictions whatsoever. I want to have the right to choose freely what Public Investments to use in my portafolio and assume full responsibility for my investment
This proposal is an egregious regulatory overstep on the part of FINRA.
a) This is antithetical to American values of freedom and equality. Letting some access these products while presumptuously assuming that those without multi-millions don't have the knowledge or sophistication to use these products is incorrect and frankly and embarrassing stance for FINRA to take.
b) Complex and

I am strongly opposed to regulations being considered to limit the ability of the public to invest in leveraged and inverse funds without such things as passing tests on investment knowledge, demonstrating high net worth, getting approval from a broker, attesting to reading certain materials, and going through "cooling off periods" during which one cannot invest.
This regulation doesn't help me as a consumer or investor. It hurts me. It takes away my options and my ability to decide what is right for me and my finances. The attitude that individual investors are too dumb to understand "complex" investments is offensive. FINRA announced that it has promoted Michael Solomon to Executive Vice President of Examinations and Membership Application Program, effective immediately.
