I am investing in an ETF that tracks the price of bitcoin as a hedge against inflation and a dollar that will weaken with continued deficit spending. Dont take away this option which allows me to play the crypto smarket without having to hold bitcoin itself. It would be an OUTRAGE to take this away.
FINRA and the sec are only here to protect large investors to become richer. This rule change and the fact that the sec approved a futures but not spot etf, enabling shorts is proof of that. This is why crypto is so important. It takes the power away from these corrupt officials and gives it back to the individual.
No more regulations. I should be able to make the investment choices I choose. I am capable of understanding the risks of securities and crypto funds without any interference. I am able to do my own research - and do so. Please do not burden me with more regulations. Thanks! S Hicks.
As a citizen of New York I have been oppressed time and time again by regulators trying to protect me. I do not need regulators telling me what I can and cannot invest in. Please allow crypto platforms such as coinbase and ftx to allow us all cryptocurrencys and staking perks available.
Thanks for taking comments; we already have enough disclosure on on leveraged + inverse products. WE like our choices. [I do agree with Warren Buffet; crypto currency = ''rat poison''] I have gotten for years, a warning thru my broker on the ''..unique risks......'' for these .I already understand them..............................................
I am a small investor and have been investing and trading for more than 10 years. I have only recently been able to invest in crypto, but do not have a high net worth. There are many of us in this category. Please don't take away our ability to invest in new areas.
Allow poor people struggling to make ends meet to freely trade Crypto without being taxed again. This help will go a long way to wage war against joblessness , daily crimes ; decongest prison & promote safe society. Allow the poor to survive & live better .
Apply the rules fairly. If you restrict leveraged and inverse funds apply them to ALL such funds, including bitcoin and other crypto.
If you raise the bar, inverse and leveraged do not need the same high bar as illiquid and opaque investments. The bar should be far short of those for accredited investors.
I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for you and your family. I shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before you can invest in public securities. I see future in crypto currency and would like to make it part of my investment portfolios.
I believe limiting my ability to invest in crypto eft and inverse etf and leverage etf is wrong. I urge you to dismiss this ruling and and other that would limit my investment choices. I know the risks involved and invest according. Thank you for taking time out to read my thoughts Mark Packer
