Requiring potential investors to 'pass a test' sounds exactly like the methods used by white supremacist Dixie Democrats to prevent Black people from voting. Investing as we please may not be specifically stated in the Bill of Rights, but it is as much a right as free speech or firearm ownership.
This is an act of legalized attrition and basic theft by the current government in its drive to enslave Americans so Bidens gang can be more communistic with his pal Putin!
I should be able to choose the investments that are right for me; for myself. Regulators shouldnt dictate what I can to do with my own money. Additionally, Regulators have no right to judge my intelligence or tendency to seek professional counsel for my financial decisions. It's not a Regulators place to believe Im too stupid to understand, and to impose education upon me for following
I am in control of my investments, and want to remain so.
I manage my own portfolio. This allows me to adjust my investments when our leaders make stupid and ill advised decisions which is happening now! We do not need more regulations or restrictions! We need less!

Is this regulation coming from an organization that is $30 trillion in debt and has an unfunded liability of nearly $100 trillion for social security and Medicare? I manage my finance much better than the U.S. government, and my leveraged ETF consist of less than 5% of my net worth.
My family's long-term investment plan includes leveraged ETFs. Our financial decisions have been made under the assumption leveraged ETFs would be available in the future. The SEC has already approved these funds. We don't need FINRA to hold our hands. Please don't assume you're smarter than we are.
Regulation needs to be imposed on companies and corporations NOT individuals. The accredited investor rules are not only insulting to lower income people but prohibit them from obtaining wealth. These rules favor the rich and punish the poor. They are unfair and geared toward corporate America verses American citizens!
Why do you need to remove a risk management tool from the individual investor. I have used both leveraged funds and inverse in my portfolio to augment my other investments and find them very useful.
If you want to "protect and educate" the consumer--develop a core study for high school students on financial literacy.
