This is a good plan, the financial service industry has been playing with a loaded deck for years now. Its time for the regulatory bodies of the government to rein in the reckless and border line illegal behavior.
To Whom It May Concern:
I am using leveraged and inverse funds to secure my retirement savings from market swings. Your proposed changes will undermine my financial security in retirement.
I do not need a regulatory board telling me I am too poor or too under informed to take a risky financial investment. I should have equal rights to all other investors.
Dont control my right to invest in leveraged funds. My risk, my reward. I agree that financial protection is important but it should be done through education not regulations that limit my investing.
You are closing the door to financial equity for smaller investors. Cutting the wealth ladder below you so that none may climb it in the manner that you and those before you were allowed.
We do not need big brother overseeing our decisions. I expect to be respected for my ability to make financial decisions. Leveraged and inverse funds are a very important part of a balanced portfolio.
I am categorically opposed to limitations of trading leveraged and inverse securities. No one but me should decide how I invest my money. I don't need babysitters when I make financial decisions.
I support the regulation. It is our civic responsibility to deter suicidal actions and for many self deemed investors this is exactly what these financial instruments afford. FINRA has been, and is doing, the right thing.
Stop restricting Americans abilities to have a successful financial future. You don't restrict us from failing so don't restrict us from successes, know your place.
Please cease and desist with any plans to alter my ability to make financial decisions on my own behalf! I do NOT need a caretaker, custodian, or any other government assistance here.
