These leveraged investments are a very important tool in my investment handbag. I use such investments very infrequently, when I feel it is appropriate. I know the risks, and only invest with leverage when it is appropriate. In my opinion, it is a much preferred tool than margin buying. Please do not prevent me from using these investments. I do not need FINRA's help in this matter. Thank
I think it makes trading not fair and leveled for all people, if you limit trading leveraged etf, for having a certain amount of money and needing cooling time,
Warnings that we accept should be enough for ppl to know the risks.
And most ppl learn stocks from their own unofficial sources and making official curriculum, will make it hard for people with other jobs to invest in stocks
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest!!!
I have a right to make my own decisions on how I want to invest my money.
You shouldn't have to go through any special process
like passing a test before you can invest in public securities,
like leveraged and inverse funds. Explain that you are
capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds
and their risks.
The ability to use leveraged funds allows investors to reduce risk and achieve decent growth results. If I use 33% of my portfolio to purchase a 3X fund and leave the rest in CD's or an interest bearing account, total money grows at 1X the market and provides a safety net to 67% of the rest of the portfolio if the market tanks. It is for this reason I support the use of leveraged funds to
Comments: Stop thinking retail investors are too stupid to use financial products.
Its absolutely ridiculous to think that, with the current alerts and warnings on retail brokerage software, we(retail) are unable to understand the risk in its plainest definition.
These types of regulations are boots on the neck of the middle class as they try to climb this great ladder of capitalism.

I oppose government mandated restrictions on types of investments. I feel it is my right to choose what type of products to invest in, including leveraged and inverse funds. These funds are extremely important to my long term investment strategy, especially as it allows me to keep emergency cash funds more easily accessible. I understand my risks when investing in any product, and should be able
Every investment carries a level of risk. While leveraged and inverse ETPs might not be well known to most retail traders, those who know about these products tend to understand how they work and how to use them. Prohibiting adults from purchasing a leveraged index fund when there are people losing money on riskier assets like cryptocurrencies and non-fungible tokens is ridiculous.
I have used ProShares ETF's for years. My best investment with them is SSO. I have a large gain in that. I am very familiar with the risks of their products. I do know from experience how to use them after years of using their product. I would NOT like to see their products be put into a category of "complex products" and not be able to invest in them. Please do not do
Dear FINRA
Do not take away our ability to invest/trade leveraged and inverse ETFs. I understand the risk and I use it for hedging. Also remember, long term returns of DIA:TNA, SPY:UPRO, QQQ:TQQQ are approximately 1:3 as expected.
At least do not take away the rights to trade these. Broad Index based leveraged and inverse ETFs in due course are not risky. Please look at the data.
I ( not the regulators)should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me& my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public , not just the privileged.
I am capable of understanding leveraged & inverse funds & their risks. I do not need these measures imposed on me.
Leveraged funds are important to
