I don't need or want any additional regulation from the government on investing. Your efforts to "protect me or other investors" from the financial industry is a waste of time and money. It only results in the erosion of return on my investments because the cost of regulatory compliance is so much.
I need to be able to choose the investments that are right for my financial situation.
Some of my investments are hedges to help protect my positions from unexpected losses.
I do not need more regulations to "protect me" as I feel I do my own adequate research and due diligence.

Hi there,
I am writing in severe opposition to Regulatory Notice #22-08 which explores the possibility of a number of limitations and regulations on the common investor. This regulation is absurd and I am completely against it!
First, it is my right as a citizen of this country to invest my money as I wish. Only I can determine what is and isn't best for myself and my family financially
Leveraged and inverse ETFs are some of the safest and easiest ways for small investors to access those types of products. It's the safest way to get extra exposure to equities and/or short equities for an individual investor. Maintaining access to these products is vital to individual investors' access to the financial markets.
FINRA - RE Proposed Rule #22-08, kindly kill it. As a ProShares EFT investor, let the free market work without the over-regulation like what you are proposing. It is obviously driven by the "Woke Crowd" and has no place in America's financial markets.

I strongly object to paternalistic obstacles to my investment choices. A much greater threat to investors is the permitted use of non-GAAP earnings by an increasing number of publicly traded companies. Work with other regulators to stop the blatant distortions of financial performance. Let investors chose the vehicles for their investments.
Hello, I do not need the government to protect me. If I fail to understand how a financial product works it is not the fault of the government but the fault of myself as I failed to educate myself. I personally have done very well with leveraged products as I bought in during a market crash and sold a while later.
This is totally unfair and discriminatory against people with lower net worth and totally favors the well off and rich investment firms. Another far reaching restrictive proposal geared to keep the 1 percent in control of the financial system and its ability to generate wealth.
I am totally against this proposal.
I currently enjoy my right to choose my own financial investments. I don't want to go through a special process to invest in securities that I am fully capable of understanding. Please leave this alone and don't change anything or add any new rules for investment in these leveraged funds.
