We should all equal opportunity to invest regardless of financial ability or lack insight, we should not be restricted to invest in opportunities only afforded to wealthy and the ones making well above average incomes
Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, Inc. (“FINRA”) is filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission (“Commission”) a proposed rule change to adopt supplementary material .18 (Remote Inspections Pilot Program) under FINRA Rule 3110 (Supervision).
This filing has been withdrawn.
I don't need a babysitter. I have more confidence in my ability to make my own financial decisions than I have in any government oversight over my investments in leveraged and inverse funds.
This is blatant over regulation which takes away freedom of choice. Adults use different strategies to achieve financial results. These strategies should not be limited by regulations that take away access to these strategies. Caveat Emptor!
Government bureaucrats have no authority to infringe on the rights of free, private individual citizens to make financial decisions. Congress needs to take action to shut down regulators like FINRA who overstep their bounds.
It is insane that you would potentially prohibit retail investors or financial advisers from access to leveraged or derivative funds. Investors should be able to choose the public investments that are right for their circumstances. You regulators are NOT God.
Dear regulators,
Our country is a capitalist economy and it works on market force. Please do not regulate financial products limited small investors like myself to chose funds to fit my investment goal.
I am writing to OPPOSE the proposed restrictions by FINRA on my investments, via my financial advisor. The right to choose is foundational to America. Please do not put restrictions in place. William Boeger, Wisconsin Investor
I have the right to invest on whatever financial property while I am fully aware of its risk. It is unfair if the access to the rather complex investment becomes limited only to institutional investors. Please leave them as is.
This is protection from "big brother" I neither need or desire!! I am fully capable of making my investment decisions without the help of a government which is completely inept and irresponsible in its own financial matteres.
