I manage my brokerage and retirement accounts. I make all my own investment decisions and execute all trades. Leveraged and inverse ETFs and ETNs are an important part of my investment strategy. I am 70 and have used these kinds of products for over 10 years. I know the risks and rewards of this type of product and I strongly believe no regulator should be trying to restrict my access to these
To whom it may concern,
I oppose restrictions to my right to invest.
Public investments should be available to all of us, not just the privileged. I should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. I should not have to pass a test before I can invest in public securities like leverage and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding them and the risks and
I use the leveraged and inverse funds as a hedge for my
portfolio during time of volatility.
I strongly oppose the restrictions on my right to invest in the leveraged and inverse funds which I have a full understanding including their risks. Also I strongly oppose any requirement on me to pass a test before I can invest in the leveraged and inverse funds which should be available to all of the
Regulators, Leveraged ETFs are important to my investment strategy and ability to tailor my investments to my risk tolerance. I use leveraged and invers ETFs for efficient hedging and speculation based on my analysis. Restricting free access to these instruments means infringing on my rights to manage my investments without outside intervention and will be an absolutely stupid policy that will
I_ not the regulators_ should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me. Public investments should be available to all the public and not just the privileged. I am capable of understanding inverse funds and their risks and I don't need restrictive measures imposed on me. I trade _ not invest_ inverse funds using my own short term strategies to enhance
returns.
I am writing to express my concern with the regulations you are considering regarding leveraged and inverse funds. I use these funds to balance my portfolio and enhance its performance during adverse times like we are currenlty experiencing.
I understand the risks of investing with these funds and, more importantly, don't feel it is your job to control how I invest my money.
Thank you

Investors in such products do not need you to assume that just because we invest via leveraged ETFs that we dont know what we are doing or understand the risks. In my opinion leveraged ETFs are one of the most effective ways to invest. I believe this so strongly i am teaching my children how to incorporate them into their portfolios as they are starting
My broker notified me re: a proposal that would force me to qualify to trade a public security focused on cryptocurrency. I oppose any type of qualification to trade these securities. I understand
cryptocurrency funds, such as BITO, and their risks, and i limit my total investment in such securities to about 1-2% of my portfolio. I know how to be cautious, and do not need government regulation
As a recently retired investment professional, I believe clients (including myself) have the right to freely select investments, (no matter how complex) and not be subject to the restrictions of FINRA's potential regulations. It is the financial professional's responsibility and within the compliance guidelines of their associated clearing/ brokerage firm to make sure the
My husband and I invest casually in video games, automotive, and TQQQ. I feel everyone should have access to public investments. To invest in any stock or fund involves some risk. That is the nature of it. My family should have the same access to investments that we have always had. If we were restricted from trading TQQQ, wouldnt that take the free out of free market?
