I have been investing in leveraged ETFs for over 8 years and fully understand the risks associated. I have traded both the long and short versions. I have both lost money and made money. I believe that all investors should have access and the ability to trade in these. The freedom to choose investments that could
help you achieve long-term financial security is extremely important.
It's especially important regulators hear from you in your own words. Please use the body of this email to customize your response.
As a citizen of the United States of America, this ruling seems to take away a freedom and would suppress our ability to better our financial success. We should able to "gamble" if we so see fit.
Dear Sirs: I understand that new regulations maybe passed affecting my ability to invest in certain securities and funds. I strongly feel this should be my decision and not yours as to whether I can make financial decisions for my portfolio. I am formerly a licensed Investment advisor that understands risks in the market. We are already heavily regulated, please no new regulations.
It is our rights to buy or sell all the public traded funds. Every stock or fund traded publicly has its risks and we understand it well. We as small investors shouldn't be discriminated by this restrictions. We need the freedom to decide which stocks or funds we want to buy as they are very important tools to achieve our long-term financial goals.

As an investor I should be allowed to invest as I please. The two experiences Ive had with financial planners, both certified and one a fiduciary, were disastrous. I lost significant amounts of money. Whereas when I have chosen my investments myself, including leveraged and inverse ETFs I have done much better.
Dont take that opportunity from individuals such as myself.
Personalized financial risk should not regulated or decided by a 3rd party. Individuals should be allowed under a freestanding republic to partake in behavior that is deemed by others as risky if it does not harm nor impose on others freedoms. This is such a case. individuals should be allowed to decide their own personal fate, not be dictated/FORCED by others no matter how well intentioned....
As a retiree and a widow, I have been able to make the best choices for a decent life in my years ahead. Those choices are critical to my health and my financial independence. I consult with knowledgeable advisors who have explained clearly to me the importance, for me, of public investments like leveraged and inverse funds. Please don't obstruct that part of my independence.
