I urge you, beg you really, not to move forward with these proposed regulations. My wife and I are retired, and depend on our investment income. I have been successfully investing in equity markets for decades now and leveraged funds have played a crucial role in that. I consider myself knowledgeable and experienced and am well aware of the risks involved. I strongly feel that I should be able to
Such intervention is unwarranted and an attack on my right to determine my own path forward. How elitist can this government get? Such securities should be open to ALL, not just the privileged few. Such maneuvers as "passing a test" is quite reminiscent of Jim Crow voting laws designed to prevent black Americans from voting! I am fully capable of understanding leveraged and
Investors are already warned enough on leveraged ETFs that there is no reason for additional regulations and warnings for individual retail investors. Investors should be able to risk their hard earned money in ways they see fit for themselves. Individuals should have a right to use financial products they see fit to use in order to achieve their short term financial goals. Adding additional

I wanted to further add that I do not agree with restrictions being placed that would limit access of public investments to the broad public and give access only to a select group of investors deemed worthy. Personally, I use such products not only as a way to enhance returns that could help secure my financial future, but also as a hedge (risk mitigating measure) to help protect my investments.
I am an individual investor and am unhappy to hear that there may be restrictions imposed upon my right to invest in certain public investments, such as inverse or leveraged funds. This is not a decision SOMEONE ELSE should make for ME or anyone else. I understand how such funds work and the risk associated with investing in them. I do not need additional hoops to jump through to make my
To whom it may concern,
I strongly oppose restrictions on my ability to purchase leveraged and inverse funds.
Ive been a frugal investor for decades, and have used these funds as part of my overall risk balancing strategy. Any changes or restrictions will adversely affect me and require significant effort to overcome at this point in my life.
Please do not pass these restrictions and impose undue
Please do now impose on our/my ability to use leverged and/or inverse funds. These play important role in my investment strategies and some of us are unable to trade futures, so they are the only entity we have to trade in a leveraged fashion. I understand the risk involved and a believe that most that do trade inverse and leveraged funds also have that understanding. I'm sure some don
I disagree with restricting my free and equitable access to leveraged and inverse funds.
Trying to limit the access of investors to leveraged and inverse funds will further put the individual investor at disadvantage against big institutions.
These funds have been there for years and are part of many investor's strategies (e.g. hedging risk).
Another point to consider is that restricting
I have learned that you are considering limiting investors ability to buy leveraged and inverse funds. I have had terrific successes with these types of funds and in fact the bulk of my trades are using this as part of my investment strategy.
Please reconsider, and leave these securities as-is so that we can buy and sell as we should be allowed to do in a free market economy. All the risks
