Sirs,
All investments involve risk. It is up to the individual to determine if an investment is suitable to his own wishes and bear the consequences of such a choice. The government and its agencies are only needed to assure fair trades take place, not qualify the individual investor. If the individual is dealing with a broker through a b/d relationship, the broker is responsible to qualify
Dear Sir or Madam,
Please consider continuing the use of leveraged and inverse funds, especially those from ProShares. As a long time investor in both TQQQ and MVV, I am well aware of the risks and rewards of leveraging in both times of market appreciation and depreciation. The mentioned leveraged funds are another arrow in my quiver of diversification and ability to be financially independent
I oppose the restrictions on the public to invest in leveraged and inverse funds. I believe every type of investment was created to meet some need of the public, and they should be made available to everyone. Losing free access to financial tools such as leveraged and inverse funds will shut more doors to the poor and make the rich richer. As long as people are able to get disclosures about the
I use my own money for my public investments. So I should be able to choose the public investments that align with my financial planning and risk level. I therefore oppose all restrictions to my freedom.
We all need a license to drive, but that's because other people's lives depend upon our driving skills. Investing is different, because only I get affected by my investment
I OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO MY RIGHT TO INVEST. I can, on my own w/o any help from more regulations, decide for myself which investments suit me and my family. I do not need any special process before you can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse funds and their risks. Tell regulators you do not need these measures imposed
I disagree with further retail investor limitations. There are countless resources available for retail investors to utilize in order to learn about leveraged ETFs and other complex investments. Additionally, these investments pose no greater financial risk than any other individual stock investment, which, if the last 2 years have shown us anything, can be even more volatile than cryptocurrency/
I oppose restrictions on my right to invest in public investments. I currently own and invest in leveraged products. I should be able to choose the public investments that FIT me and my family. I am capable of understanding leveraged and inverse investments and their risks. I do not need tests/special processes imposed on me. Leveraged and inverse funds are an important piece of my investment
Comments: I strongly oppose any restrictions to leverage products besides perhaps ensuring that the etf providers be transparent in their methodology and that the product does deliver what it promises to do, e.g. Triple return of Nasdaq 100 in the case of Proshare Tqqq. Given that it meets these basic requirements, it should be obvious that self directed investors, like myself, can easily
I oppose any new regulations on leverged or inverse investment instruments. I have been investing in leveraged funds for 8+ years and fully understand their place in my portfolio. These should be open to any investor and not just privileged. There should be no special process or test required or review of my qualifications to allow their use. I am fully capable of understanding the risks and do
To FINRA regulators, I've heard that you are considering to potentially deny me the freedom to choose investments that could help me protect my investments no matter what the market conditions are. The ability to purchase hedges allows me to keep my long-term investments intact and if you decide that I don't have the knowledge or skill to use them then perhaps you'd like to tell me
