The following are my comments on the proposed restrictions on leveraged and inverse ETF funds.
I have been using long/inverse ETF pairs since 2006 to improve my investment/trading portfolio profits.
During the 2008/2009 market crash, I was making record returns using major sector inverse ETFs while my fellow retired Verizon associates were getting crushed by the market.
Comments: I do believe having transparency is important. Regulators have done great things in the past to clarify concepts that a layman does not interact with regularly. Thanks to regulators, banks have to disclose APR's with clients, ensuring that the risks are fully understood. However, I feel that this level of scrutiny is unwarranted, biased, exclusionary, and has an unfair impact

Until you remove the ability of institutional investors to be excessively leveraged with
