I strongly believe regulators should highly regulate the availability of these investment products to the general public. Regulators most certainly should require investors meet particular investment knowledge standards before buying any leveraged ETN or ETF. As an owner of both products with more than 25 years of investment experience, these products are extremely complex and have complicated
I'm an ordinary investor in my 50s and have been investing in leveraged and inverse ETFs for about a decade. As an adult and investor I should be able to invest in leveraged and inverse products without requiring me to jump thru hoops. Leveraged products should be treated like any other high risk stocks or instrument, i.e., raise the margin requirement but do not require any undue
I oppose the possibility of restrictions being placed on my rights to invest in public investment vehicles. I should be able to choose what investments are right for me. Investments should be available to everyone not just who regulators deem worthy. I use leveraged and inverse funds to hedge positions and they are an important part of my strategies. There shouldnt be any kind of special
I oppose any restrictions on my right to invest in public investments, including and not limited to leveraged funds.
I am the one to decide which investments are right for myself and my family. Public investments should be available to everyone, not just those someone considers privileged.
There should be no process to go through like passing a test, we don't need some bureaucrat. I am
WE OPPOSE RESTRICTIONS TO OUR RIGHT TO INVEST. We not regulators should be able to choose the public investments that are right for me and my family. Public investments should be available to all of the public, not just the privileged. We shouldn't have to go through any special process like passing a test before I can invest in public securities, like leveraged and inverse funds. We fully
Dear FINRA,
I have become aware of the unnecessary regulations planned for restricting my access to invest in leveraged and inverse funds. I have been trading inverse and leveraged ETFs for the last four years without any issues. Adding restrictions will stop me from trading and investing in ETFs as well as many other investors that can profit from changes in the market trends.
ETFs and other
The reasons I am opposed at any further regulations that restrict my ability to trade in securities of my choice is that it would limit my ability to offset the volatility of many of the securities I choose to trade. I am able to determine my risk levels and leverage levels when trading and I oppose any special process you may be considering, such as tests. I do not need to be hampered by any
Dear FINRA Members, As well as you may know, in Argentina we have serious limitations or restrictions to manage our own surplus money. And that's the reason why I thought your country was a bit different from ours, because you have the freedom (as in many other things) to invest in whatever you want to. Now, reading about all these "rules" "tests" , etc only brings me bad
I strongly oppose FINRA efforts to curtail my ability to invest freely per current regulations in any publicly traded fund which I find suitable to my own financial goals. I have for two years developed an investment method, utilizing only the trading of leveraged funds, designed to provide retirement security and financial stability for myself and my two children. I do not require government
Dear FINRA Regulatory Team
I oppose limitations on my investments strategy or choices and I do not need any measures imposed on me due to the following reasons:
I have good understanding and specialized investment knowledge to invest in any ETF funds including leveraged or inverse funds. I have started investing in leveraged funds after gaining years of experience in stock market trading. I am
