5/7/2022 ..Special Test! Do I need you to look over my shoulder as I decide that the price of a security is unrealistically high? Maybe force me to take a special test to judge if I am worthy to take a position?
So what is it? A complete lack of understanding free/fair price discovery? Or arrogance that you (the experts??) know best for the rest of us.
Have you noticed that markets go up and down
I am 80 years old and retired last Friday, living on Social Security and investment income. I do not want government regulators to say what I can and cannot invest in. The two inverse leveraged ETF positions I currently hold in my IRA are up 4.14% and 15.15% since purchase. The one inverse leveraged ETF position I have in my brokerage account is up 41.78% since purchase. In this down market
markets go up and markets go down. i have invested a good amount of money feeling that because of bull and bear market history that we are due for for a bear market. it probably would have happened by now if not for covid and all the money printing the fed has done. i am in the red because of that
and you should not limit my means of getting my money back!
the fed and the government have messed
I strongly oppose FINRA efforts to curtail my ability to invest freely per current regulations in any publicly traded fund which I find suitable to my own financial goals. I have for two years developed an investment method, utilizing only the trading of leveraged funds, designed to provide retirement security and financial stability for myself and my two children. I do not require government
I cant believe you would attempt to limit my ability to invest in publically traded funds while allowing the continued manipulation of the market by the computer traded algorithimic front end trading which disadvantages the typical person investing and drives the market incessantly in one direction or the other from pure momentum. Why not reinstate some of the old rules such as the uptick rule

I invest in stocks and ETFs (BOTH LONG AND SHORT
I am a CPA by trade currently working in the banking sector and have combined public/private experience of more than 20 years. I actively manage my retirement account as well as family fund. I hold bachelor and master degrees in accounting/finance and has been self-educating myself in investing over the years. I don't need a broker license or CFA title because I don't intend
Comments: how many of you on the FINRA board are responsible for your own retirement? Ill bet you get a pension from the very government that Im betting will make a policy error. When The last fed President promised no more recessions, I wanted to find a way to bet against such arrogance. Not with your money, but mine. Ironically if Im right the IRS will tax me at a higher bracket. But if your
I am a small, individual investor, an academic by profession. For the past twenty years I have had a portion of my retirement investments (about 10%) in a leveraged fund at Profunds. The market goes up and down, but this investment has been good to me. I strongly oppose restrictions to my right and ability to easily invest in such funds. I not regulators should be able to choose the public
I have been investing since 1969. During that time, I have made many mistakes, some quite costly, but from each of them, I’ve learned something. I’ve never learned anything by being right. If regulation such as you are now proposing had been in effect then, I would have been prohibited from making the choices that taught me to be a better investor. People are not protected by this kind of
