If I stole from a store I would end up in jail. But when the hedge funds does it. It’s creating a market. Double standard. They are stealing from the American people’s wallets. The same ones that pay for you to secure the exchanges. Which it is not being done. This makes me lose faith In the American stock system if all we are gonna do is lose our money to fake stocks and dark pools. I can’t
I use leveraged and inverse ETF to hedge my positions in stocks and also to increase or decrease my long and short positions.I also take a position in the ETF when i want a position in a stock index and not an individual stock. These are easy and simple to understand and use and are a big help to small investors.Keep the system as it is working!.
ALL investments in the stock market are a GAMBLE. What is the gain?? In truth, all an investor can gain over the long run is an average dividend. Since all investing is a gamble, why target JUST leveraged stocks and funds?? If you want to stop gambling, just close ALL market trading.
I don't understand why people can be allowed to invest their life savings into a single stock that may crash and go to zero, but leveraged etfs are where we draw the line? People are always going to find a way to be risky in the stock market, leverage is one of the more well thought out ways to do it.

My investments are my choice. I dont get to buy or sell stocks in advance before passing legislation that effects stock value like you elected officials. Leave my options alone. If you dont understand triple leverage and inverse funds, thats not a reason to limit me from using them.
I gained over $1000 on my DIS today. It will cost me $274 to protect 100 sh (about 1/4) of my position with a put option for next week. That's costly.
FINRA should advocate my right to buy & sell options on a fractional basis. At a cost of $2.74 a sh I should be able to buy a fractional put for as many shares as I can afford.
There is no need to make it more difficult
I very much oppose these proposed restrictions. Any and every stock issue carries risks inherent to the individual stock, and these are no different. It is up to the investor to educate and investigate the risk and determine whether it fits within their own risk profile. This is not for the regulatory industry to define, unless the information and prospectus is giving false and/or misleading
