AI-Driven Insider Threat and Decision Simulation
Webinar- AI-Driven Insider Threat
As financial firms rapidly integrate generative AI and autonomous agents into their operations, an underexamined risk is emerging: unintentional AI-driven insider threat. This session explores how opaque, highly connected AI systems can inadvertently mirror the risk profile of a malicious or negligent insider.
Attendees will examine how limited explainability can weaken traditional oversight, how AI may traverse sensitive data beyond conventional access controls, and how autonomous agents can act outside intended parameters because of their design. The session also addresses risks from third-party and vendor-embedded AI tools and outlines governance approaches for bringing AI behavior under meaningful oversight.

Decision Simulation: Trusted Access, Unintended Consequences
In this decision simulation, participants respond to a developing AI-driven insider threat involving access to sensitive data and behaviors beyond intended parameters. Teams assess incomplete information, weigh operational and compliance risks, and decide when to contain, investigate, and escalate the incident. The exercise highlights gaps in oversight, third-party risk, and governance while testing how effectively participants can reasonably respond to the crisis.
