Qualification and Training Requirements
Prerequisites

Candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Complete a candidate information profile
  • Complete a disclosure questionnaire
  • Pass a comprehensive background check
  • Complete and submit the signed Certified Senior Advisors Application for Certification, which includes agreeing to the CSA Terms of awarding and maintaining certification
  • Agree to abide by and uphold the CSA Code of Professional Responsibility
Designation Training Requirements

Candidates must pass the CSA certification examination and 
complete the Roles, Rules, and Responsibilities Ethics Module.

Designation Exam Type

Final certification exam (proctored, closed book)

Continuing Education Requirements

30 CSA CE credits every three years
